ABOUT BEAT PACK 01:

Please note, these tracks are not limited or super-compressed specifically so you can mix with them. So they will be quiet until you process them in your DAW. When downloading, I recommend downloading in WAV or AIFF (These are 24 bit, 44.1 files). Just select WAV or AIFF when you get to the download screen on bandcamp.

These beats are sold under a creative commons attribution 3.0 license. It basically means you can do whatever you want with them, just please give credit to Barstool Astronaut for recording the drum track if and when you release something. Also feel free to send your creations my way or tag me on socials when you release (@barstoolastronaut) so I can check it out.

Regarding STEMS: These are the individual tracks...kick, snare, overhead, etc. so you can mix the beats and sample replace however you want. I recommend splitting these tracks from stereo into mono in your DAW, as they are all recorded in mono, including the overhead (Bandcamp only allows the upload of stereo files so this is why the stems are not already in mono).

Lastly, I left a couple beats of space at the beginning and end of each track. This way if you want to let some drums ring out at the end of a phrase (or let the delays die off naturally on some of the beats that have delay), you can do so without it sounding unnatural or “edited.” So long story short, you will have to create any loops yourself, which is super easy in any DAW as it will match up with the tempo specified on the file name (the space added is usually a half note or a whole note, depending on the decay).
